- Maintain the security of your account credentials
3. Account Responsibilities
You Are Responsible For:

- • Keeping your password secure and confidential
- • All activities that occur under your account
- • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
You May Not:
- • Share your account with others
- • Create multiple accounts for the same person
- • Use automated systems to access the Service
- • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
4. Accuracy of Information
You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You are solely responsible for:
- Verifying the accuracy of your credentials and professional information
- Updating information when it changes
- Ensuring documents you upload are authentic and unaltered
- Complying with all applicable laws regarding credential representation
Warning: Providing false information or fraudulent credentials may result in account termination and could be subject to legal action.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Collect or store personal data of other users
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
Our Content: The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by PracticeLink and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., PL-UDBS). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
8. Data Sharing and CV Distribution
When you share your CV or credentials:
- You control who receives access through sharing settings
- Recipients may download, print, or save copies
- You can revoke access at any time through your dashboard
- We track access for your security and analytics
- You are responsible for ensuring appropriate sharing permissions
9. Fees and Payment
Some features of the Service may require payment. By purchasing these features, you agree to pay all applicable fees. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice.
10. Termination
By You: You may terminate your account at any time through your settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Use
- Provide false or fraudulent information
- Engage in abusive or harmful behavior
- Fail to pay required fees
- Use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in the information you provide or for decisions made by institutions based on your credentials.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRACTICELINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PracticeLink, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of West Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of West Virginia.
